Base SAS

ODS (Output Delivery System)

This page is part of the Base SAS Community and is an "anchor point" for lots of information regarding SAS ODS (Output Delivery System).

New and Notable

ODS Document

The ODS document is production in SAS 9 and was preproduction in Release 8.2. With it, you can rerender ODS output without rerunning procedures. You also have more control over the structure of the output.

ODS HTML

The ODS HTML destination was introduced in Version 7 and adds more features with every new release.

ODS MARKUP

The ODS MARKUP statement is production in SAS 9 and was preproduction in Release 8.2. ODS MARKUP exports procedural output in a variety of markup languages, including your own custom tagsets.

ODS PDF

This destination is part of the ODS PRINTER family. You can send SAS output to a PostScript, PCL, or PDF file. If you are running under Microsoft Windows, you can send output directly to a printer.

ODS RTF

This destination became available in Release 8.1. Read about preproduction SAS 9.1 features and see what we plan to ship for SAS 9.2.
