MetaViewApplet

MetaViewApplet is a Java applet that enables you to view SAS/GRAPH metagraphics data as Web-enabled graphs. This applet provides interactive graphics that enable you to view pop-up menus and data tips, display slide shows of multiple graphs, and perform panning and zooming, all from a Java-enabled Web browser.

MetaViewApplet displays SAS metagraphics data as interactive graphics in your Web browser window. The display area of MetaViewApplet contains two sections:

• the graph area, which contains the graph.

• the control area, which contains controls that you can use to manipulate the graph area. These controls are optional and are enabled or disabled by the HTML file that drives MetaViewApplet.

With MetaViewApplet, you can always perform the following functions on a graph:

• pan across the graph
• view and use a pop-up menu
• zoom in and out of the graph.

When the metagraphics data contains multiple graphs, you can also

• page through multiple graphs.

MetaViewApplet also provides several optional features. You can

• display graph detail
• automatically page through multiple graphs (slide show)
• drill down on graph elements.

Note: The graph detail and slide show features are available only if they are enabled in the HTML file that drives MetaViewApplet. Also, in order for the graph-detail and drill-down features to work, graph-detail and drill-down information must be included in the SAS metagraphics data that is used to build the graph.
