SASŪ Add-In for Microsoft Office
About SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office
The SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office is a Component Object Model (COM) add-in that extends Microsoft Office by enabling you to use the power of SAS analytics and access data directly from Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.
The functionality that is available for the SAS add-in varies among Microsoft applications. In general, the functionality of the SAS add-in is the same among Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. In all of these applications, you can run analyses, generate reports, and share this SAS content with other users at your site. In addition, in Microsoft Excel, you can open and edit data sources. In Microsoft Outlook, you can monitor reports and dashboard indicators. You can use the native functionality in Outlook to share these reports and dashboard indicators with other users at your site. However, you cannot create new reports or run a SAS task in Outlook.
The SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office is part of SASŪ Enterprise BI Server and SASŪ Enterprise Miner™.
The most current release is SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office 5.1.
