Installation Note 36616: SAS® 9.1.3 Service Pack 4 and SAS® 9.2 support for Microsoft Windows Server 2008

SAS® 9.1.3 Service Pack 4
SAS 9.1.3 Service Pack 4 provides the following support for Windows Server 2008:
- Windows Server 2008 32-bit editions only
- SAS 9.1.3 Service Pack 4 (revision 20 or later)
- SAS® Foundation products, SAS® Business Intelligence, and SAS® Data Integration offerings
Support for Windows Server 2008 does not include the following:
- SAS 9.1.3 Service Pack 4 solutions
- Windows Server 2008 x64 Editions
- Windows Server 2008 for Itanium
There are no current plans to add support for Windows Server 2008 R2 editions in SAS 9.1.3 Service Pack 4.

SAS® 9.2
Windows Server 2008
SAS begins support for Windows Server 2008 with the second maintenance release of SAS 9.2 (TS2M2), which is available now.
Windows Server 2008 R2
SAS supports all SAS 9.2 products and solutions for Windows Server 2008 R2 editions in the third maintenance release for SAS 9.2 (TS2M3) with a phased-support schedule as follows:
- SAS 9.2 (TS2M3), Revision 10w20, is available.
Support includes
- the SAS Foundation servers and the server tier of the SAS® Business Intelligence platform (SAS® Metadata Server, SAS® Stored Process Server, and the workspace and OLAP servers)
- SAS Enterprise Guide
- SAS® Management Console
Support excludes
- the SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office
- SAS® Content Server
- SAS Web-based clients (for example, SAS® Web Report Studio, and SAS® Information Delivery Portal)
- Release 4.3 of the middle tier and client SAS Business Intelligence software is currently available. The initial delivery, SAS 9.2 (TS2M3), Revision 10w34, includes only SAS Enterprise Guide 4.3 and the SAS Add-In 4.3 for Microsoft Office. The subsequent delivery, SAS 9.2 (TS2M3), Revision 10w46, is now available. This delivery includes the remainder of the 4.3 release, which is the SAS Content Server and SAS Web-based clients (for example, SAS Web Report Studio and SAS Information Delivery Portal).
