About Mia L. Stephens

Mia L. Stephens author photo Mia L. Stephens is an Academic Ambassador with JMP, a division of SAS. Prior to joining SAS, she split her time between industrial consulting and teaching statistics at the University of New Hampshire. A co-author of Visual Six Sigma, Making Data Analysis Lean, she has worked with a variety of industries and with the federal government, developing training materials, teaching, and consulting in both manufacturing and non-manufacturing environments. Stephens holds an M.S. in Applied Statistics. She is currently located in York Harbor, Maine.
