SAS 9.3 Upgrade Information
Users in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and India
In early July, 2012, the SAS® OnDemand for Academics servers that support users in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and India were upgraded from SAS 9.2 to SAS 9.3. Additionally, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Enterprise Miner, and SAS Forecast Server software were upgraded to new versions.
If you plan to continue using the offering after July, 2012, then you must take action:
- If you want to continue to use SAS Enterprise Guide software, see Using Enterprise Guide with SAS 9.3
- If you want to use SAS Enterprise Miner 6.2 projects in Version 7.1, see Preparing for Enterprise Miner 7.1
- If you want to use SAS Forecast Server software, see Using Forecast Server 4.1
- If you want to continue to use JMP 9 software (or move to JMP 10), see Preparing to use JMP and SAS 9.3
Users in Europe
On July 21, 2012, the SAS® OnDemand for Academics servers that support users in Europe were upgraded from SAS 9.2 to SAS 9.3. Additionally, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Enterprise Miner, and SAS Forecast Server software versions were upgraded to new versions.
If you plan to continue using the offering after July 21, 2012, then you must take action:
- If you want to continue to use SAS Enterprise Guide software, see Using Enterprise Guide with SAS 9.3
- If you want to use SAS Enterprise Miner 6.2 projects in Version 7.1, see Preparing for Enterprise Miner 7.1
Note: Existing Forecast Server 3.1 projects will not be migrated for use with Forecast Server 4.1.
