SAS Server AvailabilityYou are prompted to connect to the SAS Server each time you start SAS® OnDemand for Academics: Enterprise Guide. The server (which is hosted at SAS Institute Inc.) remotely processes any submitted SAS files or projects and returns results to your PC.
You can run SAS® OnDemand for Academics: JMP locally and without connecting to the SAS Server. However, a connection to the SAS Server is required to submit or retrieve data files or to run SAS programs.
We expect the server to be available most of the time and make our best efforts to keep unexpected downtime to a minimum. There could be limited times when the server is down to support maintenance, testing, or performance enhancements.
If you are unable to use SAS® OnDemand for Academics: Enterprise Guide or SAS® OnDemand for Academics: JMP to perform processing, make sure that you have a working Internet connection. If you do, it is likely that the SAS Server is temporarily down. Please try to use the server again later.
