When SAS Technical Support has an important announcement about the installation or configuration of SAS IT Resource Management 3.8, the information will be posted in this note. Therefore, you should bookmark this note and refer to it when performing those activities
When you configure SAS IT Resource Management on the middle tier with a metadata server in the z/OS operating environment, the SAS® Deployment Wizard might fail. The wizard can fail if the SAS Environment Manager Service Account (sasevs) is not defined. For more information, see SAS Note 53273, "The SAS® Deployment Wizard fails when configuring SAS® Environment Manager if the metadata server is in a z/OS operating environment."
To disable SSL 3.0 in these servers, follow the instructions under the section "SAS® Web Server Application" in SAS Note 54376, "Disabling Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) 3.0 in SAS® Web Server, SAS® Web Application Server, and SAS® Environment Manager Server." When you run the default multiple-managed application server, the location of the server.xml file for the SAS IT Resource Management Report Center server instance is as follows:
In a single-managed application server, the location is as follows:
