System Requirements
SAS® AppDev Studio™ 3.41

Overview

In order to license SAS AppDev Studio, one of the following must be licensed for production use:

  • SAS Integration Technologies (for the workspace server and stored process server)
  • SAS/IntrNet and SAS/CONNECT
  • a technology package or solution that includes the above

Web Browsers

SAS 9.3 supports the following Web browsers:

  • Internet Explorer 7
  • Internet Explorer 8
  • Firefox 3.6

Memory Requirements

  • Standalone SAS AppDev Studio 3.41 for Eclipse Plugins: 2 GB RAM minimum (more memory is recommended for improved performance)
  • SAS AppDev Studio 3.41 Bundle (single machine install): 4 GB RAM minimum (more memory is recommended for improved performance)

This Web site includes information about supported operating systems, Web servers, application servers, Web browsers, Java Development Kits, and Java Runtime Environments for SAS software.

Note: In addition to the system requirements listed above, SAS AppDev Studio 3.41 Eclipse Plug-ins also requires the minimum Java release required by Eclipse as documented in http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/moreinfo/jre.php. Check the Eclipse site for specific information about minimum Java release required for a specific version of the Windows operating system.
