What's New

The user interface has been removed from SAS Inventory Optimization.

Adobe announced that it intends to end support for Flash technology and will cease to update and distribute the Flash Player at the end of 2020. Browser vendors will disable Flash by default in 2019. For more information about Adobe Flash end-of-life, see SAS Software and Its Use of the Adobe Flash Player.

Although there is no longer a user interface, you can integrate the output of SAS Inventory Optimization into SAS® Visual Analytics. By using the following tables, you can use SAS Inventory Optimization data in SAS Visual Analytics to create reports in order to analyze the data:

  •  FORECASTED_DEMAND
  • ORDER_DETAILS
  • PROMO_VENDOR_ORDER_DTLS
  •  PROMO_STORE_ALLOC_ORDER_DTLS
  •  Inventory Performance-Related Tables

For more information, see “Integrating SAS Inventory Optimization with SAS Visual Analytics” in SAS Inventory Optimization 5.4: Administrator’s Guide.
