SAS^® Inventory Optimization on the SAS^® Viya^® Platform

SAS Inventory Optimization includes extract, transform and load (ETL) capabilities for ingestion of upstream data necessary for optimization. The solution also includes application programming interfaces (APIs) to enable inventory optimization execution and downstream user (human or programmatic) access to results data. Data exploration and visualization are supported through the inclusion of SAS Visual Analytics, enabling the business intelligence, reporting and advanced analytics needs. SAS Inventory Optimization is part of the SAS Inventory Fulfillment Suite, which provides comprehensive inventory management capabilities for the retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries.

Starting with 2023.09, SAS Inventory Optimization is not available as a standalone product. SAS Intelligent Inventory Management now includes SAS Inventory Optimization.
