Support for Web Browsers in SAS® Viya® 3.5

End users can access the product user interfaces for SAS Viya applications from a desktop computer, using a supported web browser. For optimal performance of SAS Viya web applications, these client computers require modern operating systems. SAS recommends using 64-bit web browsers that run on 64-bit operating systems to access these interfaces. UNIX 64-bit and Windows 64-bit operating systems are supported.

The following web browsers are supported by SAS Viya user interfaces:

  • Apple Safari (latest stable version)
  • Google Chrome (latest stable version)
  • Microsoft Edge on Chromium (latest stable version)
  • Mozilla Firefox (latest stable version and latest Extended Support Release version)

Note: You can also access CAS Server Monitor from an Apple iPad.

Mobile Platform Support

The SAS Visual Analytics App is supported on iOS, Android, and Windows 10 smartphones and tablets. The app enables you to view and explore reports anywhere, anytime on your mobile device. You can download the app for free from the Apple App Store, Google Play, or the Microsoft Store.

Users of SAS® Visual Investigator can license and install the SAS® Mobile Investigator app. It is supported on iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.

Some SAS user interfaces are not currently supported on mobile devices. Touch-enabled interactions with SAS Viya web applications on mobile devices are not supported.

Web Browsers for CAS Server Monitor  

The client machine that is used to access CAS Server Monitor requires one of the following web browsers:

  • Apple Safari 6.0 and later.
  • Google Chrome 27 and later.
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 11.
  • Microsoft Edge 40.1 and later.
  • Mozilla Firefox 21 and later.

Note: You can also access CAS Server Monitor from an Apple iPad.
