SAS 9.1.3 Installation Kits

Based on the products in an order, a customer receives one of four different SAS Installation Kit models. Each kit model listed below includes customer documentation specific to the available installation and configuration paths. A fifth kit model contains material for SAS Support Consultants.

SAS 9.1.3 Installation Kit Types

Basic Installation Edition Kit
Used to install "basic" SAS software. The platform-specific installation program and SAS Installation Data (SID) are needed to complete this type of installation.
Planning Installation Edition Kit
Used to install and configure multi-tier SAS software products or solutions. In this type of installation, a "plan file" is created during a planning phase for use in the installation and configuration process. The SAS Software Navigator, SAS Installation Data, and the plan file are needed to complete this type of installation.
SAS 9.1.3 Foundation and SAS Enterprise Guide on DVD Kit
Allows simple, one-disk installation of SAS 9.1.3 Foundation and SAS Enterprise Guide software.
SAS Enterprise Miner 5.3 for Microsoft Windows on DVD Kit
Allows simple, one-disk installation of SAS 9.1.3 Foundation software and SAS Enterprise Miner Client 5.3, Credit Scoring for SAS Enterprise Miner 5.3, SAS Enterprise Miner for Desktop 5.3, or SAS Data Mining for the Classroom 5.3 in a single-user client installation.
SAS Support Consultant Kit
Contains information for the SAS Support Consultant about education, training, user conferences and SAS software product documentation.
