To delete a table from
a transformation in the process flow diagram, perform the following
steps:
-
Navigate to the location
of the job in the
IT Data Marts tree.
-
Double-click the job
to open it on the
Diagram tab of the
Job
Editor.
-
Right-click the table
that you want to delete. The table is removed from the transformation.
However, the metadata of this table and its library are not deleted
from the
IT Data Marts tree, and its contents
are not deleted from the physical file.
-
Save the job that you
modified. To do so, select
FileSave.
If you delete the source
table of an Aggregation transformation in the process flow diagram,
the target tables of that transformation are also deleted. However,
if this action is not acceptable, you can reinstate these tables.
To do so, select
EditUndo.
CAUTION:
To avoid
processing errors, delete any reference to a deleted table, as a source
or target for any transformation in any other job.
For example, Information
Map transformations that use the deleted table as a source table should
be deleted.
Note: Be sure to redeploy any jobs
that reference the deleted table.
