SASŪ Social Network Analysis
The first maintenance release of the SAS Social Network Analysis Server 2.3, including the SAS Financial Crimes Monitor, has been tested for accessibility compliance and has the following changes and enhancements:
- simplified installation and configuration procedure
- refinement of the alert generation process (AGP) to provide quicker display of alert listings
- improved error and warning messages to facilitate solution use and scenario development
- more verbose debugging text written to the logs to provide better assistance when troubleshooting
- enhanced features to enable better recovery from a failed project run
- ability to hide the social network analysis tab when a social network analysis diagram is not required
- changes to the SAS Financial Crimes Monitor interface to support ease of project development
- better support for printing alert listing
- additional functionality to the Design Overview feature of the SAS Financial Crimes Monitor to promote better navigation and project updates
- support for upgrade from version 2.3 to the first maintenance release
Overview
SAS Social Network Analysis uses SAS to help institutions detect and prevent fraud. By combining network detection and visualization algorithms with the ability to mine massive amounts of data, this products helps to reveal previously undetected relationships. Investigators use this Web-based interface to examine suspicious activity and network relationships. The SAS Financial Crimes Monitor, a Web-based interface, is used to manage the scenarios that apply business rules, data mining models, and anomaly detection to data and generate alerts. SAS Social Network Analysis Server is available on demand as a hosted solution.
