View SAS metadata

To view the metadata associated with a SAS data set that has been added to ArcMap:

  1. Open ArcCatalog.
  2. Right-click the OLE database connection that contains the data set that you want to view, and then select Connect.
    Note: If you have not created an OLE database connection, then you must first add an OLE database connection.
  3. Expand the database connection that contains your data set, and then select the data set.
  4. Select the SAS Metadata tab.
