Before you can invoke Export attributes to a SAS data set, you must add it as an extension to ArcMap.

To add the extension:

1. Select Tools Extensions from the ArcMap menubar.
2. Select SAS Data Exporter extension from the Extensions window.
3. Click Close.

Now the menu item Export attributes to a SAS data set is displayed in the pop-up menu when you right-click on an ArcMap layer.
