Problem Note 60132: A failure occurs when you use two-way SSL or client authentication using TLS/SSL on SAS® 9.4 in Microsoft Windows operating environments
Under Windows, a failure occurs when you use two-way Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) or client authentication using Transport Layer Security (TSL)/SSL on SAS 9.4.
When you try to use the HTTP procedure to send client certificates to authenticate under Windows, you need to use the following SAS system options, based on the information in the section TLS on Windows: Validating Certificates between Clients and Servers ("Chapter 8: Installing and Configuring TLS and Certificates on Windows") in the document Encryption in SAS 9.4, Sixth Edition.
- SSLCERTISS
- SSLCERTSERIAL
- SSLCERTSUBJ
After you set these options to valid values, they do not retain those values when the code is run, which causes the failure.
