Problem Note 53017: Launching SAS® Enterprise Miner(tm) with Java Web Start fails with various errors depending on the version of Java Runtime Environment in use

If you try to launch SAS Enterprise Miner using Java Web Start with Java Runtime Environment 1.7.0_45, you receive a security warning:
Do you want to run this application? An unsigned application from the location below is requesting permission to run.
Running the application may be a security risk
If you try to launch SAS Enterprise Miner using Java Web Start with Java Runtime Environment 1.7.0_51 or 1.7.0_55, you receive a security warning:
The application's digital signature cannot be verified.
Do you want to run the application? Name: Signed JAR resources.
If the Java console logging is active, the following is displayed in the console:

You can enable Java Web Start Console logging to activate logging, and to verify the Java Runtime Environment that your browser uses.
With these versions of Java Runtime Environment, the property handling for the Java Web Start JNLP file changed. The change causes a problem when you launch SAS Enterprise Miner.

Note: The hot fix applies to SAS Enterprise Miner 12.1, 12.1_M1 and 13.1. This problem is fixed for SAS Enterprise Miner 13.2 in the second maintenance release for SAS® 9.4 (TS1M2).
