Server or Client Tier Requirements

SAS High-Performance Analytics Server

Please select a target environment:

Base SAS, SAS/STAT, and at least one of the following products are required for SAS High-Performance Analytics.

  • SAS/ETS
  • SAS/OR
  • SAS Enterprise Miner
  • SAS Text Miner

SAS High-Performance Analytics Server also includes a SAS/ACCESS engine of choice, either SAS/ACCESS Interface to Greenplum or SAS/ACCESS Interface to Teradata. The LASR Analytic Server, described below, can be used in the place of the SAS/ACCESS engines.

LASR Analytic Server

The LASR Analytic Server is only used in the place of one of the two SAS/ACCESS engines described in the SAS High-Performance Analytics Server section, above.

Apache Hadoop software is distributed with SAS software as a convenience. For support information, see http://support.sas.com/resources/thirdpartysupport/ApacheHadoopSupport.html.

  • SUSE Linux Enterprise System 11 (64-bit version) on the x64 chip family
