What's New in Version 1 is a short document describing the Version 1 features and enhancements. It's formatted differently, but is basically like the Changes and Enhancements document for previous releases.
The book that looks (and is) quite different from its predecessor is the new Product Support Manual, which was rewritten for Version 1. It's organized by topic, and we think it's easier to find what you're looking for in chapters on database files, work files, and buffers, for example.
The Interface to CICS book needed to be rewritten and reorganized, and it has a new look because it was created with the SAS publishing tools.
And finally, also created with the SAS publishing tools, is the new Messages and Codes (MAC) book. It's basically the same as always, but it incorporates all the new and changed messages from the past 10 years. If you use the index in the MAC, you'll notice a slightly different organization that works fine once you get used to it.
