Contacting SYSTEM 2000 Technical Support


There are several ways to contact Technical Support in Austin, Texas:

Technical Support normally responds via email within 24 hours (except on weekends and holidays). We may, however, respond with a phone call if we need more information or you indicate in your problem description that you prefer a phone call instead of an email response.

Sending Email

These instructions describe how to submit problems to SYSTEM 2000 Technical Support via email.

The format for your email is simple. Include the following information at the beginning of your mail. Information you supply is in angle brackets (< >).

name=<your name>
phone=<your phone number>
site=<site number>
Provide a valid site number so we can look up information about your site.
company=<your company name>
area=<the SYSTEM 2000 area or product in question>
An example would be Installation, PLEX/CICS, or any other aspect of SYSTEM 2000 execution you need help with.
release=<release you are running>
Specify 12.1, 12.0, 11.6, 11.6-03.
os=<operating system>
text=<text of your message>
Put anything you want in the text of your email. Ask questions, report problems, suggest enhancements. Here is an example email message:

From:    <your e-mail address>
Subject: <S2K Problem Report>

I am having problems with the installation of SYSTEM 2000 software.  The 
installation worked fine, but when I run the job JCLSCF for the base validation
I receive the abend:
