How do I apply maintenance to SYSTEM 2000 software and when does the
applied maintenance become effective?
You apply maintenance by:
- using the IBM utility program IMASPZAP
to apply zaps to load modules
- using the IBM utility program IEBUPDTE
to apply changes to source modules.
The problem fix comments usually contain instructions you need
in order to make your changes effective, such as:
- relink SYS2K and S2KPLI (not required in Version 1)
- shut down and restart your Multi-User regions
- recycle your CICS regions.
