In SAS^® Markdown Optimization, Price and Effective Price in the Plan Weekly Details view might be different in a week with no promotions. This issue is likely to occur when there are mid-week price changes. Price is extracted at the beginning of the week, and actual price is extracted at the end of the week.

In addition to the issue in this note, you might also experience the issue in SAS Note 62022: "Markdown spend might not be reported in the correct week in the Plan Weekly Details view" when you have mid-week price changes.

After the fix is available, the MDO_ACTUALS_USE_END_WEEK global setting is available to specify when the price is extracted. If you have mid-week price changes, then specify a value of 1 for the MDO_ACTUALS_USE_END_WEEK  global setting.
