Problem Note 62022: Markdown spend might not be reported in the correct week in the Plan Weekly Details view

In SAS® Markdown Optimization, spend might not be reported in the correct week in the Plan Weekly Details view. This issue is likely to occur when there is a mid-week price change. Spend is calculated based on the price at the beginning of the week. If there is a mid-week price change, spend is incorrectly calculated using the price at the beginning of the week instead of the end of the week. When this issue occurs, spend is reported in the week following the price change.
In addition to the issue in this note, you might also experience the issue in SAS Note 62026: "Price and Effective Price in the Plan Weekly Details view might be different in a week with no promotions" when you have mid-week price changes.

After the fix is available, the MDO_ACTUALS_USE_END_WEEK global setting is available to specify when the price is extracted. If you have mid-week price changes, then specify a value of 1 for the MDO_ACTUALS_USE_END_WEEK global setting.
