Problem Note 38815: When using SAS® Download Manager to download SAS® 9.2, "Http status 404" error messages appear
When you use the SAS® Download Manager the download might fail with http status 404 error messages.
You might see these error messages in the sdw.log:
SEVERE: Failed to download file <path to
file\filename> with http status = 404
The following is an example of another error message. Note that the message is not limited to this file.
SEVERE: Failed to download file C:\SAS Software
Depot\download\jmp__80__win__xx__sp0__1
\jmp__80__win__xx__sp0__1.ezip with http status = 404

The problem is associated with how the SAS® Download Manager interacts with the proxy server.
To correct the problem, download and install the latest SAS® Download Manager.
