Problem Note 37460: The SAS® Download Manager might fail with a checksum error when you try to download SAS software
A checksum error might occur when you use the SAS Download Manager to download software.
If an error occurs, the download stops and displays an error similar to the following, where nn is the number of the file that triggers the failure:
Error: Bad Checksum for file nn
While the file number that triggers the failure might vary, the common trait
among checksum errors is that the failure will
occur on the same file if you try the download again.
Following is an example of an error message that would appear
in the resulting sdw.log in these circumstances:
SEVERE: Failed to download file C:\SAS Software
Depot\download\itclient__92210__wx6__xx__sp0__1
\itclient__92210__wx6__xx__sp0__1.ezip with correct checksum. Wanted

Note that an actual error message would contain the
file number that triggers the failure.
To correct the problem, download and install the latest SAS Download Manager®.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
An error similar to the following might display: "Error: Bad Checksum for file nn" where nn is the number of the file that triggers the failure.
