Usage Note 20446: You may receive "Symbol resolution" error when upgrading to SPD Server
4.4 TSM2 on AIX
You may receive the following error message after upgrading to SPD
Server 4.4 TSM2 on AIX:
0509-036 Cannot load program psmgr because of the following errors:
0509-130 Symbol resolution failed for psmgr because:
0509-136Â Symbol __pth_init (number 145) is not exported from dependent
module /usr/lib/libpthreads.a[shr_xpg5_64.o].
0509-192 Examine .loader section symbols with the dump -Tv command.
To resolve this issue, you must upgrade your /usr/lib/pthreads.a to
version 5.3.0.50 or upgrade to AIX 5.3, Technology Level 5.
Please contact IBM to obtain this upgrade.
