Occasionally you may need to determine which version of the SAS
Analytics Platform is installed and running.

To check the version, bring up the Analytics Platform Console
via your web browser.

This can be done by opening a browser, such as Internet Explorer, and
entering the machine name on which you are running the SAS Analytics
Platform Server followed by the web server port that was assigned during
the Analytics Platform Configuration.  By default, this port is 6098.

For example:

http://<MachineNameofAnalyticsPlatformServer>:6098

Once the SAS Analytics Platform Server Satus page is displayed,
go to the Configuration tab.  Note the version specified under
the Analytics Platform Server section.

This value is typically reported in the following manner:

   1.3.0.20060419.1012
