The security that is used by SAS Studio is the same as the security for accessing remote data using SAS Enterprise Guide or SAS Display Manager. If you are running SAS Studio Mid-Tier and SAS Integration Technologies, then security and access control are provided through the SAS Metadata Server. In this case, when SAS code is submitted to the SAS server through SAS DMS, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Studio, or any SAS client application or web application, complete security and data access control are applied and managed by SAS.
