Quick Tips for Searching
- Search the appropriate site:
Customer Support Center for technical and usage information
www.sas.com for corporate, overview, and introductory information
-
Specify as many words as possible:
forecasting econometrics ets
This search returns all pages that have "forecasting" or "econometrics" or "ets" in the text.
This type of search often returns a large number of pages. However, the pages are ranked such that the pages at the top have the greatest number of occurrences of all three words.
-
To ensure that a word is included all the resulting pages,
use a plus sign:
+data +mining +seminar
This search returns only those pages that have all three words.
-
Enclose phrases in quotations:
"Integration Technologies"
This search returns all pages that contain this phrase. Note that case is significant!
-
When searching for SAS products by name, it is best
to use UPPERCASE, for example:
SAS/GRAPH
