SAS® 9.2 Audit and Performance Measurement

SAS 9.2 Enterprise Business Intelligence Audit and Performance Measurement instrumentation package is a collection of SAS provided utilities that customers may download, install and configure for their organization. The package allows an Enterprise BI site to monitor the state of the SAS 9 BI architecture, implement audit authentication reports for regulatory compliance, and report on the performance and usability of the SAS 9 BI analytic server environment.

The audit and performance measurement package enables three primary reporting features:

Integration with SAS Information Delivery Portal

The audit, performance and status reports are delivered with two methods for enabling the reports. Sites may chose to place the HTML reports on a local web server, or alternately, enable the reports through a Web Application Server using the SAS Information Delivery Portal. Optimizing Features and Capabilities

The features and capabilities of the package are enabled through a set of SAS language programs, libraries and operating system specific scripts. A site may easily extend these features by creating custom reports to meet local site reporting or audit requirements. The documentation describes the organization and details of the underlying programs and processing included the package.

SAS recommends a site review the documentation to familiarize themselves with the organization, features and capabilities of the package prior to implementation.
