Problem Note 70873: SAS® Enterprise Guide® might not correctly save some special characters such as '≤' in program files
Special characters might be displayed incorrectly in SAS Enterprise Guide under the following conditions:
- You use UTF-8 encoding
- Your program file includes a special character such as the following: √ ∞ ≈ ≠ ≡ ≤ ≥ ⌠ ⌡
- You save program file with the default session encoding.
In this scenario, when you reopen the program in SAS Enterprise Guide, the characters might be displayed incorrectly as shown here:
