Usage Note 70739: A new configuration property in SAS® Risk Governance Framework enables you to display up to three workflow actions as buttons on an object screen
By default, SAS Risk Governance Framework displays available workflow actions for an object in the Workflow actions menu.
A new configuration property enables you to display up to three workflow actions as buttons on the object screen, reducing the need to select a workflow action from the Workflow actions menu. To specify the maximum number of workflow actions to display on the object screen, specify the following configuration property in the configdata.properties file:
monitor.workflow.buttons.limit = maximum_number_of_actions_to_display
Valid values for the property are 0 through 3.
The web application follows the default behavior and displays available workflow actions in the Workflow actions menu when any of the following conditions are met:
- The configuration property is not set in the configdata.properties file.
- The configuration property is set to a value of 0.
- The number of available workflow actions is greater than the value that is defined for the configuration property.
- The configuration property is set to a value greater than 3. The web application also logs an error in the SASRiskGovernanceFrameworkMidTier.log file.
An example of available workflow actions displayed as buttons on an object screen is shown below:
