Problem Note 70464: An "Invalid conversion...." error occurs when a BOOLEAN data type is written to DB2 and you use SAS/ACCESS® Interface to DB2

If you attempt to update a BOOLEAN data type when using DB2 client version 11.5, the following error might occur:

ERROR: During insert: [IBM][CLI Driver] CLI0102E  Invalid conversion. SQLSTATE=07006

With IBM DB2 version 11.5, the BOOLEAN data type is returned as a BIT data type instead of as a SMALLINT data type as in previous versions.

A workaround is to change BOOLEAN data type to a SMALLINT data type.
