SAS Studio 5.2 Enterprise might intermittently stop responding when a program is running and then generate a dialog box titled "Submission Error" with the following text:
An error occurred during submission.
Please contact your system administrator for assistance.
The following details are displayed:
502 Proxy Error. The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server
A .har (HTTP ARchive format) file captured during the problem displays the 502 on a stepSubmissions POST method.
Here is an example:
POST /SASStudioV/sasexec/sessions/<sessionid>/stepSubmissions HTTP/2.0
Workaround
To circumvent this issue, restart the studiov microservice.
