Problem Note 70259: Trying to score a model with Oracle might result in an error message that reads "Invalid string or buffer length..."

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you try to score a model with Oracle, an error similar to the following might occur in the sasep.saslog file if the scoring is attempted after a restart of the Oracle database and the operating system:

TK,,0,,TKTSPrepare() failed.
TK,,0,,Invalid string or buffer length
TK,,0,,HY090
ODCI,,0,,start():Some issue with SAS. Possible reasons:incorrect EPPATH/TKPATH setting, DS2 program compile errors.
ODCI,,0,,______start_______***ERROR***-

The actual error message text that might appear in the SAS log varies, but it should indicate that the model failed to run.

The workaround is to stop and restart the Oracle database.
