Problem Note 69962: Issues that are addressed in Hot Fix 6.2.5 for SAS® Event Stream Processing
Hot Fix 6.2.5 for SAS Event Stream Processing contains the following fixes and enhancements.
Enhancements:
- Enhanced PI web error logging to show failed PI points in response to an OMF container request.
- Added an optional prefetchcount publisher parameter to the RabbitMQ connector and adapter.
- In the Kafka connector/adapter publisher, added an optional avrofielddelimiter parameter.
- Added publisher support in the Avro format library for the following:
- writing the JSON representation of a union or array to an ESP string field
- the AVRO_BYTES, AVRO_ARRAY, AVRO_ENUM, and AVRO_MAP types
- publishing the JSON representation of an AVRO_MAP to a string field
Fixes:
- In Python Pub / Sub AI, added default parameter value to InitJSON() to prevent a user application breaking because of a modified function signature.
- Fixed the Kinesis connector and adapter publisher operation when it is configured with a kinesistype parameter of protobuf.
- In the PI web connector and adapter, the error logging in batch mode is now less verbose.
- When reading an Avro value into a nested ESP money field, fixed a bug in parsing related to the Avro schema.
- In the Avro format library, added support for the type field that contains a union instead of a string.
- Added support for the time zone in a functional window timeParse function.
- Added a call to the SSL error cleanup function in an HTTP processing thread.
- Fixed the operation of the ignoreparseerrors connector and adapter parameter when using JSON or XML format libraries.
