When you assign a group to a role in the metadata, SAS Workflow Services might fail to recognize that users in the group are associated with the role. The problem occurs when the group already exists in the metadata, and you edit the group to assign the group to the role. The problem does not occur when you assign the group to the role while creating the group.
SAS Workflow Services might also fail to recognize the change when you remove a group from a role.
You might see the issue in a solution that uses SAS Workflow Services, such as SAS® Risk Stratum or another solution on the SAS® Risk Governance Framework. For example, assume that a workflow action for a business object is available for users in a particular role. If a user is a member of a group, the user should be able to perform the workflow action after you assign that group to the necessary role in the metadata. Instead, the workflow action might not be available for the user unless you restart SASServer1_1.
