Problem Note 69848: SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Netezza does not pass the WEEK function to the database with Netezza client versions 10 and later
In Netezza client versions 10 and later, queries that use the WEEK() function are not passed to the Netezza database.
Here is example code that triggers this issue:
proc sql;
select
year(datepart(date1)),
week(datepart(date1),'v')
from nzlib.w
group by date1
having date1 = max(date1);
quit;
You can turn on SAS tracing with this code:
options sastrace=',,,d' sastraceloc=saslog nostsuffix;
Then, messages similar to the following help you isolate the issue:
SAS_SQL: Unable to convert the query to a DBMS specific SQL statement due to an error.
ACCESS ENGINE: SQL statement was not passed to the DBMS, SAS will do the processing.
