Problem Note 69351: Saving SASHDAT files to the S3 caslib can fail with "ERROR: Failed to save the table 'TABLE1' from the 'S3CASLIB' caslib to the 'S3CASLIB' caslib"

When you save SASHDAT files to the S3 caslib, the operation can fail with an error similar to the following:

ERROR: Failed to save the table "TABLE1" from the "S3CASLIB" caslib to the "S3CASLIB" caslib

The following example code can generate the error:

proc casutil;

    save casdata="TABLE1" incaslib="S3CASLIB"

    outcaslib="S3CASLIB" CASOUT="TABLE1" replace;

quit;

In this scenario, the CAS log contains a segmentation violation similar to the following:
