Problem Note 68587: Foreign key integrity constraints are not reactivated in PROC COPY when a library is assigned to a SAS/SHARE® server
Foreign key integrity constraints are not reactivated in the COPY procedure when a library is assigned to a SAS/SHARE server in the SAS® 9.4M7 (TS1M7) release. When this issue occurs, you might see a message similar to the following:
WARNING: Foreign key constraints in file libref.SAS-data-set.DATA could not be reactivated.
ERROR: You cannot open libref.SAS-data-set.DATA for Update access with member-level control because libref.SAS-data-set.DATA is in use by user connecting-user-ID.
The integrity constraints cannot be reactivated because the output SAS data set is locked in PROC COPY.
When the output SAS library is not assigned to a SAS/SHARE server, this problem does not occur.
