Problem Note 68505: You see "...index is in unusable state" errors in the SAS® Risk Governance Framework log file

When the database engine for the SAS Risk Governance Framework database is Oracle, you might see errors similar to the following in the SASRiskGovernanceFrameworkMidTier.log file:
com.sas.oprisk.framework.server.persistence.PersistenceException: There was an error interacting with the database: ORA-01502: index 'RMC.PREF_PKEY' or partition of such index is in unusable state
The problem occurs after you change the MAX_STRING_SIZE database parameter from STANDARD to EXTENDED. For more information about required database parameters, see Chapter 2, "Pre-Installation Tasks," of SAS® Risk Governance Framework 7.4: Installation and Configuration Guide.
