Problem Note 68289: Saving a campaign by using the Save As functionality takes 15 minutes in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio

In SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, saving a campaign by using the Save As functionality can take 15 minutes. This problem might happen when SAS® Real-Time Decision Manager is neither installed nor configured, but the SAS® Software Order does include SAS Real-Time Decision Manager.

After you enable debug logging for the SASCustIntelStudio.log file, the following call is displayed in the file:

When you enable wire tracing in the log4j.xml file for the SASCustIntelCore and SASCustIntelStudio logs, you can see the 15-minute delay in those logs:
