Problem Note 68207: SAS® Cost and Profitability Management 8.4_M1 contains some functional issues
A number of functional issues exist currently in SAS Cost and Profitability Management 8.4_M1:
- SAS Cost and Profitability Management 8.4 unnecessarily enforces uniqueness of names for entered cost elements.
- When you modify dimension members in a model and then regenerate an existing OLAP cube for that model, the operation fails with this error message:
Errors in the OLAP storage engine: The attribute key cannot be found when processing: Table: fact-table-name.
This issue occurs In SAS Cost and Profitability Management 8.4 environments that use SQL Server Analysis Services as the OLAP server.
- Models that use rule-based drivers might need to be calculated twice to drive all assigned costs as expected.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
This hot fix addresses all of the functional issues that are listed above.
Note: After you install the hot fix, an error occurs in the model creation and deletion tests if you run the SAS Cost and Profitability Management Server Diagnostics. This error is a false error that you can safely ignore. A fix for the cause of the false error is planned for a future maintenance release.
