Problem Note 68033: The validation of a decision campaign fails in SAS® Real-Time Decision Manager when a non-required field is empty
In SAS Real-Time Decision Manager, the validation of a decision campaign fails when a non-required field is empty. When this problem happens, the validation window displays an error similar to the one below:
Cannot use expression "_G_IO_UPDATE_TABLE = TableNew(); TableColumnsAdd(_G_IO_UPDATE_TABLE, {
. . .more message lines. . .
});" at code node "GBDCBMX2GBANXXHE_1" of flow "7613263647_validation_empty_1_AGBHCEZ1LRF4S4Q3" : Compile error, line 2, column 241, token "_ID_INDIVID_BCYRP5_N": identifier is not defined.
This problem occurs when the following facts are true for a Process node's field:
- No value is assigned to the field. However, the field does have an assigned identifier.
- The identifier is not assigned a value upstream from the Process node.
The error occurs because a value is not provided in the field either directly or indirectly (from the identifier).
To avoid this error, include a value in the field.
