Problem Note 67953: A query is sent to Oracle incorrectly when you use PROC SQL with metadata LIBNAME engine (MLE) libraries and the DBIDIRECTEXEC option
When you use the SQL procedure with metadata LIBNAME engine (MLE) libraries, the query is sent incorrectly to Oracle.
The issue occurs when all of the following are true:
- Both library names in PROC SQL are assigned to the MLE.
- One of the MLE libraries connects to Oracle.
- The DBIDIRECTEXEC option is set.
You can use one of these available workarounds for this issue:
- Set the NODBIDIRECTEXEC option.
- Assign one of the libraries to the native engine instead of the MLE.
- Assign both of the libraries to the native engine.
