Problem Note 67902: Attempting to clone a Git repository using HTTPS authentication generates "Error: Return Code from GIT is (16), the SSL certificate is invalid"
Attempting to clone a Git repository in SAS® Studio using HTTPS authentication generates the following error message:
Error: Return Code from GIT is (16), the SSL certificate is invalid
This error occurs because SAS Studio checks SSL certificates by default.
In order to configure the desired SSL certificate, you must apply the hot fix that is provided in this note.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
After you apply the hot fix, you can enable a new configuration setting, allowGitSSLCertFilepath. Use of the allowGitSSLCertFilepath setting cannot be enabled unless the configuration property allowGitPassword is also enabled for HTTPS profiles. When both of these configuration settings are set to TRUE, you can specify the SSL certificate file path in the HTTPS profile.
