Problem Note 67815: Upgrading Platform LSF 10.1.0.3 to Platform LSF 10.1.0.9 fails with an error message
When you are upgrading the installation of Platform LSF 10.1.0.3 to Platform LSF 10.1.0.9, the installation might fail with the following error:
LSF 10.1.0 build 460028 is already installed. You cannot install LSF 10.1.0 build 541874 on the same cluster.
To fix this issue, you can use one of these workarounds.
Workaround 1
Update the folder name under LSF_TOP from 10.1 to 9.1, where LSF_TOP is the top-level LSF installation directory. Then install Platform LSF per the following documentation: Installation Instructions for Platform Suite for SAS® Version 12.1 for UNIX.
Workaround 2
Apply the patch that is on the Downloads tab and follow the instructions that are included with the download.
