Problem Note 67652: A SAS/ACCESS® Interface to DB2 query against an AS/400 database fails with an error about the datetime value
A SAS/ACCESS Interface to DB2 query against an AS/400 database fails when the query uses a SAS date value.
The resulting error message is similar to the following:
[IBM][CLI Driver][AS] SQL0302N The value of a host variable in the EXECUTE or OPEN statement is too large for its corresponding use. SQLSTATE=22001
[IBM][CLI Driver][AS] SQL0180N The syntax of the string representation of a datetime value is incorrect. SQLSTATE=22007
